  • Climbing is complicated…

Climbing injuries are unique and climbing movement is impossible to understand if you’re not a climber.

Providers who are not climbers don’t understand how to safely get you climbing again (often delaying your return to climbing by months). They also underestimate how hard climbing is on your body and they usually don’t provide rehab at a high enough level to get you back to your goals.

We get you. Stop trying to explain what a gaston is to your current PT and work with someone who shares your psych. Learn more.

  • We knew that would be your first question.

Believe me, we feel you on this one. Not climbing sucks. But reinjury sucks more.

The majority of climbers are able to continue climbing to some capacity while rehabilitating their injury. More serious injuries or acute injuries will require relative rest from climbing. Our goal is to get you back to climbing as quickly and as safely as possible. We will provide you with the expertise and resources to tell you exactly how much you should be climbing to optimize your recovery. Check out Evan’s return-to-climbing guide.

  • Rock Rehab is a cash-pay clinic. We do not bill insurance for physical therapy appointments.

  • The short answer -- better care, fewer appointments, faster recovery.

To put it bluntly, insurance companies are not in the business of helping people. They make arbitrary rules that negatively impact clients and providers alike. With the cash-pay model, we are able to provide one-on-one appointments with 1 hour of undivided attention. This allows us to create a highly individualized plan that addresses your injury and goals.

If you've been frustrated with the poor quality of care at your insurance-based PT, you will be blown away with the cash-pay model. It's as good as a new pair of climbing shoes.

Psst -- ditch those old, worn out climbing shoes for a brand new pair of top of the line shoes. You'll be amazed at what you'll be able to do with them. #levelup
